Turvasana™—Translation rates

The price of a translation service depends mainly on the languages involved and on the length of the source text. Pricing a translation according to its word count requires that the source material is available as normal, well-formed text in one of the many file formats supported by our standard workflow. Otherwise — for example, if the source text is in another file format, represented as graphics, or copy-protected — we may instead offer to charge for our work by the hour. Typical translation-only ratesClients who are translation service providersThe following examples also apply to translation tests as well as to translation memory matches and repetitions. However, these rates are not binding; please contact us for an assignment-specific quote!
Separate revision or review is not included. The rates per word assume delivery in a single, conventional format. Supplementary services, such as preparation of multiple or customized deliverables, are charged by the hour. Information on delivery options is available. The hourly rates apply only to translation; for other Turvasana™ services, please browse to the front page. End clientsIf you are not a translation service provider, you should also purchase revision and, optionally, review. You may use the above TSP per-word rates as a starting point; to gauge the additional cost that will apply to your translation, please refer to our editing page. Should you nevertheless prefer to forego revision and review, that can usually be arranged. In such a case, the above TSP rates would apply. For ads in glossy magazines and expensive directional signs, it makes sense to buy premium text. For in-house memos, or documents with limited circulation, a less polished (and less expensive) option may be fine. — Translation — getting it right |
